Description

The industrial safety measuring device with acoustic alarm and visual display with semi-rigid 40 cm long hose. With its hydrogen-selective sensor, the industrial safety meter can detect even the smallest leaks with a very low leak rate. Even containers or lines that do not contain hydrogen can be tested for leaks with the safety device if they are filled with hydrogen-containing test gas and then checked for leaks. The commercial forming gas with five percent hydrogen and ninety-five percent nitrogen, which is already available for other technical purposes, is well suited for leak testing. This safety device automatically detects the current hydrogen concentration of the environment after each activation and then only evaluates changes in relation to this concentration. The reset button does the same during leak detection. If the leak is not clearly identified, even though all indicator LEDs are already lit, the current hydrogen concentration can be set as the base value via the reset function and thus the position of the leak can be better limited. After this, the safety device can be reset to low output values in an unstressed environment. Regardless of the level of the output concentration, one of three different sensitivity levels can be set at the occupational safety measuring device by pressing a button. The selected sensitivity is indicated by the illumination of a labeled LED. Where "H" stands for high, "M" for medium and "L" for low.
