Compared to many other layer thickness measuring devices, this layer thickness measuring device does not need to distinguish between ferrous and non-ferrous metal. With the small and compact design of the layer thickness measuring device, one-handed operation is possible. Despite its small design, the layer thickness meter has a measuring range of 1500 µm and an accuracy of ±(3% + 1 µm). The displayed measured values can be output in µm, mm and mils with the slice thickness gauge. In addition to measuring the thickness of the slice, the thickness gauge can determine the smallest, largest and average values from a number of different measurements. The coating thickness gauge also has an automatic shut-off function.
