Description

The comprehensive tool case for installation of glass fiber sections with Telent splice protectors for crimping of crimp splice protectors on fusion splice protectors (without Cleaver OFC-30). The NetPeppers fiber optic tool box contains everything you need for WAS to install fiber links. Whether it's FTTX, building, or campus cabling, the carefully selected tools help you prepare fiber optic cables for field-ready connectors, fusion splices, mechanical splices, or repair of existing fiber optic cables. The components of the case have been carefully selected and put together sensible for the fiber optic cable installer.

The fiber optic tool case combines all the steps required to process glass fibers in a compact set. The Miller MB06-7000 bundle-wire cutter is available for stripping the outer sheath of drop or micro/mini injection cables for outer sheath thicknesses up to 6.4 mm and longitudinal slit function. A proven Miller pliers are used for stripping 3 mm protective sheath and 900 μm secondary coating. The NetPeppers OFS31 fiber optic precision wire stripper is used to strip the 250 μm primary coating. In addition to a pair of scissors for removing the Kevlar fabric, cloths and an alcohol pressure dispenser are also included in the delivery so that the fiber can be cleaned before the purge process takes place. A pair of tweezers and a lockable waste container ensure safety during use. At the end of the manufacturing process, the installation can be checked for errors using the VLP50 visible laser light source after the finished fusion splice with crimp splice protectors and the included TETENT splice protectors have been protected.
