The direct-acting motor valve of the type 3280 is suitable for dosing liquids and gases in closed or open control circuits. The valve is driven by a linear stepper motor. The integrated electronics make process integration much easier, no additional control modules are required. The motor requires no power to hold a certain valve opening. This property can drastically reduce the energy consumption of a plant and thus make it more efficient.
Type 3280 is available as standard ON/OFF or proportional valve, as a variant with integrated positioner, as well as as as a variant with integrated process controller.
The kv factor indicates the volume flow through a valve, measured in litres/min at 1 bar and at a water temperature between 5 and 30°C. The QNn factor indicates the gas volume flow, measured in litres/min
