The OSDome has the same digital technology as the other REV7 sensors. Due to the new form factor, however, with a hemispherical field of view. The cupola-shaped design offers a field of vision of 180° at the top and 360° in the horizontal. Thanks to the L3 chip, this lidar is the most powerful on the market. It is suitable for applications such as upgrading security and crowd analysis systems with data protection-compliant personal tracking or equipping warehouse robots with robust situational awareness.
