Description

ArduCAM-2MP-Plus is an optimized version of the ArduCAM Shield Rev.C and is a high-resolution 2MP SPI camera that reduces the complexity of the camera control interface. It integrates the 2MP CMOS image sensor OV2640 and offers a miniature size as well as an easy to use hardware interface and an open source code library. The Arduino mini can be used in any platform such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Maple, Chipkit, BeagleBone Black enclosure, as long as it has an SPI and I2C interface and can be easily combined with standard Arduino boards. The Arduino mini not only offers the option of adding a camera interface that is not available in some cost-effective microcontrollers, but also offers the option of adding multiple cameras to a single microcontroller.
