Description

Refractometer / handheld refractometer for wine / juice refractometer with automatic temperature compensation / calibration via adjustment screw / very precise measuring instrument / for juices and wines / measuring range up to 18 % Brix with this refractometer can be carried out quickly and precisely. In order to perform a measurement with this handheld refractometer, the user only needs a few drops of the liquid to be tested. The sample liquid is easily applied to the wine refractometer using the pipette supplied. If the hand refractometer for juice is now held in a light source, the operator can directly read the % Brix value on the scale. This refractometer can be used to measure liquids such as juices or wines. The readable scale of the handheld refractometer extends over a measuring range of 0 … 18 % Brix. With an accuracy of ±0.1% Brix and a readability of ±0.1% Brix, it is also a very precise refractometer for wine. Thus, the hand refractometer for juice can be used for a variety of measuring tasks. Because of its simple operation and high accuracy, this refractometer is used in agriculture, educational institutions, universities, training centers and research laboratories, for example. The handheld refractometer can also be calibrated quickly and easily by the operator. To perform calibration, distiled water must be drizzled onto the measuring surface of the refractometer. If the operator now looks through the eyepiece from the refractometer, the zero point can be adjusted. If the reading of the handheld refractometer is not 0% Brix, adjustment can be made using the adjusting screw. For many refractometers, temperature compensation must be performed. This is not necessary for this handheld refractometer. This juice refractometer has an automatic temperature compensation based on 20 °C. Thus, the operator only needs to concentrate on the actual measurement with the handheld refractometer for wine. Subsequent calculations after a measurement with the refractometer are therefore not necessary. The scale of the refractometer is not always easy to read. A focus can be performed so that the operator can easily read the scale from the hand refractometer. This can be performed by turning the eyepiece on the refractometer.
