Description

MTX 3297 is a digital multimeter that conforms to the applicable European ATEX directive 2014/34/EU for explosive atmospheres. MTX 3297 meets the requirements for use in industries such as the oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical and mining industries.
It meets all testing and repair requirements for electrical equipment maintenance in all hazardous areas with an explosive atmosphere and outside, without compromising the conformity of measurements and measurement performance. The MTX 3297 complies with the safety standard IEC 61010-2-033, the cables comply with the IEC 61010-031 for voltages up to 1,000 V in category III.

Ergonomics
The device was developed in France using robust materials and maximum security in hardware and software. MTX 3297 is clearly visible in its surroundings due to the red injection system. MTX 3297 measures all common electrical values with precision: Current, voltage, resistance, diode, capacity, Frequency. It offers temperature measurements with PT100 or PT1000 sensors. The precise multimeter measures all types of signals, even those with very disturbed signal form: Effective TRMS AC- and AC+DC-measurements.
Complete with all analysis tools for quick fault diagnosis at the touch of a button: MAX/MIN/AVG for monitoring with time stamp, as well as peak for automatic recording of transients and fluctuations.
Measurement specifications as in case of a calibration multimeter:
- VDC 0.05 %, bandwidth 100 kHz, automatically activated bar graph with central zero point for DC and MIN/MAX or PEAK for monitoring fluctuations.
- Direct reading up to 10 A and even 20 A (max. 30 sec.), and from 10 A a current clamp function with integrated converter ratios.
