Description
Improved heat resistance and high impact bending strength
By specifically adapting the chemical composition of Spectrum PLA Pro, this material combines the advantages of PLA and ABS. Components printed with Spectrum PLA Pro have high impact resistance (50% higher than conventional ABS material) and at the same time have higher tensile strength as compared to conventional PLA.
Changing the chemical composition also improves the flow properties of the material. PLA PRO filament is an excellent solution for industrial applications. It is based on a high print efficiency and above all on the possibility of increasing the print speed.
Application areas:
- Functional initial production
- Functional tools
- Interior design and decoration
- First-time production of industrial designs for the visualization of concepts
Crystallizing:
The PLA Pro filament can be processed in a heating chamber at high temperatures. After crystallizing, the model stands out due to its increased temperature resistance (up to 85°C) and almost double the impact bending resistance compared to standard ABS.
*Unsteady warming can lead to unexpected deformations and suboptimal performance of printed parts. Make sure that there are no hot / cold spots in the heating chamber. The typical time for the temperature of the printing objects with a wall thickness of approx. 3.2 mm is on average 20 minutes.
