Six different hardness scales
Leeb hardness tester for metals / 9 materials pre-calibrated Conversion into 6 different hardness scales / Type D Impact body The Leeb hardness tester measures the hardness of nine different metals according to the Leeb rebound method. For the Leeb hardness tester, this means that a striking bolt collides on a metallic surface and that the intensity of the rebound is used as an indicator of the material hardness. The hardness tester measures the metal hardness in 6 different hardness scales, including: Rockwell, Vickers, Leeb, Brinell and Shore. In the Rockwell scale, a distinction is made between Rockwell B and C. A Type D impact device is included in the standard scope of delivery with the level hardness tester, this impact device can be used for many measurements. The measured values can be transmitted live to the PC via the data interface. This makes the Leeb hardness tester an important measuring device in the area of material testing during the inspection of goods.
