This package was distributed as part of a major campaign by BBC Education, the Micro:bit Educational Foundation and Nominet to schools across the UK and is Ideal for teachers who want to try the micro:bit in or out of the classroom.

The friendly, simple design also makes it easy for absolute beginners to take the micro:bit in the hand and start programming. But do not let yourself be deceived, this tiny device only 4 cm x 5 cm big has it in you! With 142 components placed on this tiny board, you can program an unbelievable range of exciting outputs with free programming editors. It even has a edge connector for connecting additional accessories, external circuits or components, resulting in an infinite number of possibilities. The BBC micro:bit Next Gen Classroom Pack also includes a brand new flexible micro:bit bracket and a strap, with which one can simply attach the micro:bit to the hand or wrist to allow programming on the go.
