The clamp-on ammeter has a measuring range of ±99.9 mA DC. With an accuracy of 0.3 % v. MW. +8 digits the clamp-on ammeter is a particularly accurate measuring device. In order to comfortably carry out measurements with the clamp-on ammeter, the clamp-on ammeter is connected with a 1 meter cable. Thus, the clamp-on ammeter can be attached to the line to be measured. The clamp-on ammeter can be easily attached to your work place. This means that both hands are free during the reading of the measured values, for example, to carry out adjustments or configurations on the process technology. Because of its high accuracy and the external sensor, the clamp-on ammeter is well suited to perform fast and reliable current measurements for process signals.
To perform a current measurement, the clamp-on ammeter must be clamped by the probe around the wire to be checked. Thus, with the clamp meter the flowing current is measured inductively. This has the special advantage that a current measurement can be carried out during operation with the clamp-on ammeter.
The clamp-on ammeter has an LED for a better view. With this LED of the clamp-on ammeter, the measuring point can be illuminated optimally. Optionally, the current probe can be equipped with an ISO calibration certificate.
