The special shape in combination with swelling glue pockets and longitudinal grooves gives the plugs a secure hold. For absolutely anti-twist connections and maximum stability. And all this with much faster processing: The first dowel hole is easily aligned and milled with a form-fitting pin. It immediately fixes the workpieces to be connected exactly and flush to the edge. The DOMINO system also tolerates minor inaccuracies in the other dowel holes.
The cross-section of a DOMINO dowel corresponds to that of three round dowels of the same drill diameter, thus it is extremely stable in comparison
The guide ribs protruding from the sides center the dowel in the middle of the DOMINO trimming and thus ensure perfect alignment of the work pieces
Specially shaped glue pockets and longitudinal grooves distribute the glue evenly for an optimum connection
Excess glue may escape due to the longitudinal grooves on the side
