Channels with CTCSS/DCS); switchable national frequency tables (EU, EC, d, PL, In) are stored in the software. The country standard abbreviation, the set channel number and modulation type - all important details can be read easily on the large illuminated display. The LCD informs about the status of other device functions: The setting of the transmitting power (high or low) or the automatic noise control ASC (patent of the President group), two-channel monitoring (Dual watch), Roger-Beep, selective calling procedure, VOX function, Charging control display and keypad lock. The RANDY III+ offers in addition a monitor function (for short-term suppression of the noise suppression), a direct connection to channel 9/19 as well as a search function for an individual scan list to be created. A microphone socket can be used to connect an external microphone. A switchable torch is also available.
