Your Station receives despite battery change according to instructions and/or reset the outdoor temperature is not? Then, your outdoor transmitter can prove to be a defect.
But no problem, now you can replace the outdoor transmitter without necessarily having to invest in a new station. (Please note the compatibility of the sensor with the stations)
JeeLink, FEHM-to an ordinary smart home is the measurement of temperature and humidity in every room. This allows the hardware costs, however, quickly in the high shoot.

In order to build an Arduino Nano JeeLink itself and an rfm12B for 433 / 868 Mhz is required. As sensors is the TX29DTH IT a much cheaper alternative. Only recommended for true-freaks and technology enthusiasts.
