With the Prototyping Shield, you can make your projects rock-solid. It makes it easy for you to design customer-specific circuits and soldering electronics directly on them.
The ProtoShield makes it easy for you to design your own circuits. You can simply solder TH or SMD ICs on the prototyping area to test them with your Arduino board. The SMD area is designed for a maximum of 24 pins SOIC integrated circuit and the TH area contains a lot of space for the required components around your project. You can even attach a mini breadboard (not included) to the protocol area for solder-free operation. The Proto range also includes two power lines (IOREF and GND), two LED pads and SPI signals breakout pads for boards with SPI only on the ICSP header such as Zero.
Key features:
- 1.0 Arduino pin assignment
- 1 ICSP connector footprint
- 2 LEDs and resistance area
- IOREF and GND power lines
