Here is the unique, compact Ds620slim, which maximizes your productivity at work and fits perfectly in every workplace thanks to ultra-compact designs. With the full-featured operating system DiskStation Manager (DSM), the DS620slim is the ideal file server. It enables smooth file synchronization and reliable data backup while protecting your important services. The DS620slim also supports 4K video transcoding and is thus perfectly suitable for streaming media contents in Ultra HD.

Ultra-compact and flexible in the Raid configuration
Synology DS620slim is an ultra-compact NAS with 6 slots for 2.5" drives, but at the same time also flexible in the setup of different RAID types with HDDs or SSDs for even better protection of your data. In addition, storage performance can be further increased by using an SSD cache and there are still enough drive bays available for data storage.

The DS620slim is equipped with a dual-core processor and 2 GB RAM , expandable up to 6 GB . With AES-NI encryption, the model provides a sequential data throughput of over 220 MB/s read and 190 MB/s write during encrypted data transmission in a dual 1GbE environment with link aggregation. The DS620slim has two USB 3.0 ports for lightning-fast data transfer and backup to external storage devices.
