Description

The Homematic IP Thermostatic Radiator Valve - basic is part of the Homematic IP Smart Home System and actively helps to save energy. The smart regulator replaces conventional radiator thermostats, which means energy savings of up to 30% can be achieved.

The thermostat is mounted on the radiator without interference with the heating system and without tools. The power supply is provided by two AA batteries, which can supply energy for approx. 2 years. Thanks to the preset heating profile, the radiator thermostat can be used immediately - this can be adjusted manually at any time if required. Individual temperature curves with up to 13 changes are possible per day. Homematic IP only heats certain rooms when there is a real need.

The setup can be done flexibly on the device itself, via Homematic IP App (in connection with the Homematic IP Access Point) or via a browser-based interface (in connection with a central unit CCU2 / CCU3). Alternatively, the smart thermostat can also be operated without a central unit: The stand-alone operation (push-to-pair) enables the direct programming of up to eight window and door contacts with magnet (HmIP-SWDM) for automatic lowering of the room temperature during ventilation.

The app allows the radiator thermostat to be integrated into a comprehensive smart home system. For example, the cloud solution allows you to set the temperature at any time from any location. If you prefer to know the data locally on the home network, but still want to benefit from the advantages of a smart home system, you can use the setup via the central CCU2 / CCU3.
