Description
With the Load Cell Bricklet 2.0, Bricks can read load cells. Only one known weight is required for calibration of the load cell. It is possible to determine weight differences of a few grams between objects that weigh many kilograms themselves.
On the Bricklet there is an LED which can be switched on and off by means of API, for example to indicate that the measured weight lies in a certain range.
The Bricklet has no galvanic separation to the Tinkerforge system. This means that there is a direct electrical connection between the terminals of the Bricklet and the rest of the system. If this leads to unwanted connections, ground loops or short-circuits in the respective application, the use together with an insulator Bricklet is advisable.
The Load Cell Bricklet 2.0 has a 7-pin Bricklet plug and is connected with a 7p-10p Bricklet cable with a brick.
