Description
The top hat rail casing can be used to fasten Tinkerforge Bricks and Bricklets comfortably on top hat rails.
A total of 8 Industrial Bricklets and a stack of four bricks can be mounted in the housing. The entire Industrial range can thus be used in the housing and upgraded with additional bricks and master extensions depending on the use.
There are already recesses in the side parts for the respective connections, so that the used modules can be used optimally. Due to the modular design, it is possible to place each side part individually. This allows the housing to be specially adapted to its own application.
On the second level, it is also possible to use Bricklets that are not in the Industrial Bricklet form factor. For this purpose, the Bricklet can be simply screwed onto the mounting plate in the second level. Examples are the RS232 Bricklet 2.0 and the RS485 Bricklet or also a OLED128x64 Bricklet, which can display status information through the transparent cover.
The cover can be opened and protects the modules from dust and dirt of any kind when closed.
