The PowerSafe SBS is also successfully used in cable TV networks, in the safety supply in power plants and in offshore applications.
The PowerSafe SBS series is available as a front terminal type in addition to the classic pole arrangement. This pole arrangement is very widespread in modern telecom applications. Smaller in size than competitive products, all PowerSafe SBS batteries offer optimum space utilization through design flexibility. The front end facilitates assembly and simplifies maintenance.
The advanced electrode technology of the PowerSafe SBS batteries allows operation at elevated temperatures and extreme ambient conditions. The special pure lead technology and the unique manufacturing process of Enersys makes the PowerSafe SBS batteries the first choice when robust, reliable and long-lasting products are required. The maximum short-term operating temperature of the PowerSafe SBS J series can be extended to up to 80°C using a metal box.
